The club held its summer party with an evening of polo at the Round Ground Pavilion. Happy hour entertainment was provided by the Officer Cadets challenging the Directing Staff of the academy at Bicycle Polo, which the DS won 10-2.  The main match of the evening was RMAS vs an eclectic team from The Household Division featuring three Household Cavalry (including Tpr Wakeford RHG/D making his first UK playing appearance since joining the Army this year) and two Grenadier Guards officers.  RMAS continued its winning streak with a resounding victory.

Having been forced to cancel our first math of the season against Eton the RMAS Polo team had its first run out on The Round Ground Pitch on Sunday 20th June as part of the RMAS Heritage Open Day.

Two matches were held with The Academy hosting 8000 of the public as it opened its doors for the day.  Both matches, which were kindly sponsored by AUDI COLBORNES were a great success.  The first match between RMAS and The Royal Artillery (The Army Novice Team) was a well fought and well played match at -5 and -6 for the teams respectively.  RMAS, with an excellent performance from OCdt Doug White at No4, won 5-3.5.  An excellent first result.  The second match of the day saw 12 goal polo being played at the Academy for the first time, along with the England polo legend Howard Hipwood making his first appearnace at the Round Ground along with Gaston Devrient the Army Polo Coach (both are 5 goal).  The Audi Colborne Team lost to The Hackett Army Team in a close fought and technically excellent game.  Our thanks go to Richard Gullett and his team for making the day possible.  The Teams for the matches were:
